"Helping my student both understanding and performing under exam conditions."
I have three years of experience teaching upper Secondary pure Physics and Chemistry. Being an Accountancy undergraduate with Big 4 work experience, I can also take on Accounting tuition assignments.
Previously from Anderson JC and Catholic High School, I have a very strong foundation in both Physics and Chemistry for A and O Levels.
Usually, I would prefer students to prepare questions beforehand and use lesson time to clarify their doubts with me. This will be a more efficient use of time, as opposed to them attempting the question during the lesson.
Alternatively, I can go through the content again with students and reinforce their foundation and understanding.
For students taking their O Levels, I would prefer the first method of teaching. For Secondary 3 students, I will apply the method that best suits the student's needs.
My students have shown marked improvements from mere passes to As.
Also, besides teaching them content-based knowledge, I also equip my students with examination techniques, such as time management, question analysis, etc. This will allow them to better perform under examination conditions.
I did well enough for my A Levels in enrol in NTU's direct honors Accountancy course, widely recognised as the best Accountancy faculty.
I also have a strong foundation in Physics and Chemistry. For my O Level prelims, I scored above 80 for both my Physics and Chemistry.
