"Helping kids to know their potential."
I am a patient tutor, especially when it comes to kids. I like kids and I like to teach them.
I believe in quality teaching over quantity therefore, I will invest time and effort to explain both homework and mistakes to students until they are clear. I ensure that their foundation in english and math is set in place before I move on to the higher level questions.
I also personally choose assessment books and questions that I believe will help to boost their confidence and their understanding of the topic.
I have helped a secondary 3 student improve on his english and e math over the course of 2 years. In his recent O levels, he scored an impressive 11 points (raw score) with A2 in his e math. He started off as a slow learner and was considered to be lower than average in his class.
I also have taught primary school kids. 3 of them were from Korea. They had difficulty in english and Math because they had little knowledge of the english language. Over the course of 2 years, I taught them patiently and they managed to secure places in band 2 classes in their schools.
I attended economic talks opened only to top students in my junior college.
