I have good experience in tutoring students at both upper and lower Secondary as well as upper Primary level. I specialise in teaching Mathematics and Science as these are subjects which I aced during my school days. My philosophy in teaching is simple - engage and build good rapport with my students to intrigue them in learning. In the past, I have undertaken numerous challenging assignment and have successfully brought about significant improvement in my students’ results. I believe the key to this success is the ability to break down difficult concepts into bite-size portions that can be easily understood and recalled. The tutor’s mastery of the subject matter is therefore essential. Equally important is the ability to align myself with the thinking of my students in order to understand the challenges that they face. Your child may be facing a difficult time learning the subject that he/she is currently weak in.
