Besides having in-depth knowledge of the subjects I'm tutoring, I also have many years of tutoring experience and am familiar with current MOE syllabus. I believe in engaging the child in the learning process and getting him/her develop interest in the subject. I believe this will enable the child to think for him/herself and develop the interest and curiousity to explore the subject(s) independently.
I helped a student who failed in her P4 maths mid-year exam excel in her P4 year-end exam. From P5 onwards, she excel in every Math exam.
I graduated with 2nd upper hons from NTU School of Biological Sciences and was subsequently awarded a scholarship to pursue PhD in NUS. I have previously received books prizes awarded by the Marine Parade Consituency for outstanding 'O' and 'A' level results.
