"Helps your kids to become smarter, quicker"
I have teaching experience for a year on Secondary 3 and 4 math, chemistry and physic. As I am pursuing my chemical engineering degree, I believe that I am competent in Math, Chemistry and Physic. My teaching method vary based on the performance of the student. For fast learners/smarter students, I'll guide them by using examples/exercises, and only go through topics they need more explanations. As for weaker students, I'll guide them chapter by chapter. In order for the learning to be effective, it is very much depends on student's self-disicipline. I expect tutees to do homework that I assigned to them. You can't clap with single hand. I reckoned that in order to see improvement in results, tutee must be co-operative with the tutor.
I used to have 2 secondary 3 students and a secondary 4 student. 1 of the sec 3 student have shown improvement from being a failed student to a pass one, while another one from grade C to strong B.
I am currently a year 4 chemical engineering student in NUS.
