"Equipping students to succeed."

As a tutor, I strongly believe that success is determined by the students' determination and willingness to study and help themselves. The best tutor in the world is unable to achieve much if the student does not have a proper attitude and mindset. I choose to teach students to help them to understand concepts instead of memorize, because that is critical in ensuring that they are able to handle various forms of examination questions. Memory work is tiring and unreliable for a student but understanding lasts forever. I also believe that parents need to work together with tutors in ensuring that the student has support before, during and after class because this is critical towards one's success. On top of that, I like to set goals for students together with the parents so that everyone becomes involved. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I will do my absolute best to ensure that my student succeeds as best as he/she can. In Singapore, education is of paramount importance and therefore, I would like to equip my students will the skills and mindset to be a positive individual in society that will go far.
