"Education for the Future"
I have been a secondary school teacher for the past 20 years. In addition, I have been appointed Subject head of History since 2016. I also served in MOE Curriculum Planning and Development Division as a curriculum officer for 3 years. i have helped developed and write textbooks and design assessments for the current History and Social studies syllabuses starting from 2013 to the present.
My classes have scored consistently above expected targets. Mostly attaining 35 to 40% distinctions in History. The Mean Subject grade of my classes range from 2.5 to 1.6. I have also been engaged to carry out teaching workshops for teachers based on my skills and current use of teaching methodology.
I have been awarded the SPC book Prize for History in 1995 while in University. I have also been awarded a Masters in Education from UWA in 2006. I have more than 100 hours of training as a full time archaeologist and historian from 2003 to 2013.
