"Finding the way that works best for your kids"
Hi! When I was still studying, I had to figure out many studying tips on my own to ease my learning. This was attributed to the fact that my teachers were extremely familiar with the subject content that they often overlooked the minor details which they felt were common-sensical and are not worth explaining.
Personally, I don't agree that studying is just about accepting and memorizing a certain way of doing something. Such tips could be used as a guide but the actual learning is not about achieving full marks through memory work. There will come a point when analytical and thinking skills would become more important. Education should be about training the mind to learn to adapt to the various challenges along the way.
