I have taught Primary 6 Math and Science, and Sec 1 Math at Brilliant Minds Learning Centre for a year before I left for my further studies in Taiwan. Equipped with English and Mandarin abilities, I am confident that I will be able to provide a wonderful language learning experience.
I am currently teaching English to a foreign adult (Korean). He has commented that I am a dedicated and helpful teacher, am able to deliver and explain clearly and the best that he has found.
My Primary and Secondary education has always been in English in Singapore. My university education was done wholly in Mandarin and I was living in Taiwan for 4 years, a country whose language is predominantly Mandarin. In university, I took part in English writing contests and have come in 1st and 3rd for Poem writing and Essay writing respectively.
