I am an engineering student for 4 years that have a good amount of experience with mathematics. Below is my approached to solved a mathematical problem for a given time. 1. Most of the time will be spent to analyse the problem. As this enables me to narrow down to the most efficient AND effective method to resolve it. 2. Recall the methodology and execute the steps. 3. Check for any potential mistakes after completion of steps. And this is how I conduct my tutoring session, - Half of the time spent in a tutoring session with my student will be empowering them with skills required for step 1. - Adequate homework will be set aside to train the student for the required methodology mentioned in step 2. - The rest of the time will be used for either school related work or any subject related clarification.
