"With patience, you can coax even the weakest student to do better."
I've been giving home tuition as a full time job for some time now, and I would say my greatest satisfaction from the job would be when my students show vast improvements in their work. My student base mostly comprises of primary school children, so it can be said that I am generally good in handling kids, and I am always patient in putting my point across. With this said, I fully understand that kids can have a very short attention span. With experience, I know how to spruce up lessons with storytelling and words of encourage to spur my students on.
I have helped several students in building up their confidence when it comes to tackling exams - the most recent would be a handful of my students did show vast improvement in their recent SA1.
