"Bringing out your child's potential"

I believe in helping the child to discover his/her own optimal learning method. Most children who are not performing as well in school need a mentor to guide them through their rough patch, as the educational demands of the current schooling system are getting increasingly higher, and a string of poor results can have a damaging effect on the morale of the child. I believe that with some motivation and confidence, combined with the right learning method, learning can become enjoyable again, and examinations need not be viewed with trepidation and fear. Practice is still important for the child, not simply in hopes that the same practice questions may appear in the examination, but because regular practice helps reinforce the fundamental skills that are required. These same fundamental skills can then be applied flexibly to a variety of situations, and this is the mindset that elite educational institutions are emphasizing on, to produce confident and versatile students. About me I graduated from a double degree program with second upper class honors, where we regularly have twice the workload and modules as a normal university course, so I can share my experience in managing stress and heavy workloads. Having coached fellow classmates, I have a good grasp on many different yet effective study techniques. While studying hard is important, I also know the value of studying smart and being exam smart when the situation calls for it.
