"Give your 200% and go with the flow."
Having three years of teaching experiences, i have taught nine students thus far. I focus on both Additional Mathematics and Elementary mathematics currently though I do have experience in teaching both combined science as well. My students usually improve 1-2 grades within 3 months but the rate of improvement greatly depends on the students' willingness to learn. SInce math is a lot about practice, I believe in motivating my students to work harder and practice more through building their interest towards the topic. I usually use assessments and past year papers but i do provide notes if needed, because I prefer to motivate my students to create their own studying materials as it builds their skills to study independently. I strive to be a tutor who not only assist my students to improving their grades but to be independent, which will be an essential skill in whatever they do. Having been from a normal academic stream, i have learnt how to teach students who learns math at a slower pace.
I have taught 11 students thus far. My students score averagely As and Bs.
J, from Anderson sec failed her math in sec 2 but managed to get an A for EOY and now, in sec 4, she occasionally top her A/E math quizes and exams in class
S, from Fuhua sec, barely passed her math in sec 1 and recently she scored 80% for her CA1
H, also from Anderson, has never passed her A/E math in Sec 3 but now she averagely scored a b4-b3.
