"Preparing our kids for their future"

I explore various teaching methods to cater to different students needs. i prepare notes and practices for students to expose them to the key questions and concepts in a topic. This make revision easier for students as they are aware of the important concepts in a topic and could zoom in during their revision. This makes their revision effective and help to shorten their revision time especially when students are very busy these days with school commitment. With my notes and practices, it makes their revision easier and ensure that they could score for exams. i provide proper scaffolding questions during tuition too to ensure that students could understand the concepts fully rather than memorising it which will increase the retention of knowledge. I teaches students not only content but answering techniques and skills which are enduring and important in current syllabus. The current syllabus has incorporated alot of critical and analytical questions which often students find it challenging. They could have studied but did not know the appropriate skills needed to answer questions. Without a proper grasp of answering techniques, students often could not score in exams and become demoralised as they have prepared so much for their exams. Hence, other than content, i emphasizes alot on learning and answering strategies to help students cope with their examinations. In this way, it makes their learning fruitful and they are able to reap results. Being a current teacher, i am always updated about the changes in the education system and aware of what examiners look out for. I would also include this in my notes and practices to better prepare students for their upcoming examinations and Olevels. It is critical that students know what examiners in Cambridge look out for to ensure that their answers written meet their standards. Students under my guidance have always scored great results. One of my Sec 3 student improved from F9 (before i took him for tuition) to A2 within a short span of one term of work, and he got awarded the Best Improvement Award in school. My students score As for the subjects that are taught under me. With the methods taught during lessons, they felt more confident in the subjects and are motivated to excel! I promise the delivery of results through my teaching methods.
