"With Interest, Comes Results"

I'm a Murdoch University undergraduate studying Bachelor of Communications, majoring in Communication in Media Studies and Public Relations. I've been a home tutor for 3 years. I mainly teach 3 core subjects: English, Mathematics and Malay. I'm a pretty laid back tutor that focuses more on understanding the concepts before attempting to tackle questions. Concepts will always be summarised and explained once a new topic is started before the tutee will attempt the questions. I heavily emphasise on tutees to have a notebook for each subject and to write down the concepts explained, call it keeping a formula book that is handy for quick revision. I expect tutees to be independent in their studies and I firmly believe in the notion that having an interest in a subject will gain better results.
