"Every child has the ability to do well"
I enjoy doing sports in school and in my free time, I also enjoy helping my friends with their work so I figured maybe I should teach tuition as a part time job. I'm patient with kids so i'm willing to put in my best effort to make sure the student makes the most out of the tuition.
As a tutor I believe patience, understanding and encouragement is of utmost importance. Understanding that the students are weak and may not be able to grasp content as fast, so several times of explanation in different ways to help the student understand is very important. I believe that school and exams alone are pressurising enough for students, so a tutor shouldn't be further stressing them out but help them alleviate some stress. Personally I feel that when a student sees improvement, even the slightest bit, it would prove to them that they have the ability to do well. Lastly, I strongly feel that some form of encouragement especially for young children will boost their confidence in themselves so they will push themselves so do better and better.
