With my experience in tutoring, I customize teaching materials and techniques to make learning effective and interesting for my students. I am a patient teacher who ensures that each lesson is being delivered efficiently in the best suitable pace and style for each student within that few hours of tuition lesson. At times where I need to discipline the student, I can be stern. ******************************************************************************************* I enjoy story telling to groups of children and i have tutored kindergarden, primary1-6 and secondary 1 students. Through these experience, I believe that learning through interesting sources like articles, stories and educational games could enhance a child's capability and willingness to learn. Hence these elements will be included in my teaching from time to time. Apart from assessment books, I prepare notes, topical and examination based materials regularly to reinforce what have been taught for each topic and semester. This ensures that my student has sufficient practices on his/her weak points. ******************************************************************************************* To me, tutoring is not only imparting my knowledge but also learning from my students each day. I firmly believe that with motivation and encouragement, a child's self confidence and independence in learning would greatly increase their progression in learning by correcting their weakness and enhancing their strengths.
