I have been teaching both private tuition and group tuition for the past 6 years. I developed my own set of notes and practice papers , which focuses more on getting students to understand the key concepts and examples to improve their exam performances. My students, whom vary from primary school students to JC Chinese B students, have all improved their grades by at least two levels, with many even going from a failed Chinese student to getting an A in their O-level or A-level Chinese exams. My teaching method is very simple. With lots of encouragement and strict discipline, I hope to impart the best exam methods and key knowledge/content to my students. With the practices and examples I used in classes, they should be able to fully understand the key concepts behind every type of questions and how to approach them. No matter how the questions change during exams, they should be able to fully utilize the concepts learned and answered the questions properly. Moreover, I also focus on getting my students to be interested in the Chinese language. Chinese is getting more and more important in the current business setting. Being able to do well in Chinese exams is not enough for students to excel in using the language in the business setting, hence I also hope and always try to ignite some fire in their Chinese learning journey.
