"Determination and humility is the key to success."
I am an undergraduate currently pursuing a Degree in Sociology at Nanyang Technological University. While I do not have experience in giving formal home tuition, I have taught subjects such as English, Math and Science to my nieces and neighbours' children who are studying in primary schools. I would describe myself as someone who is patient and determined, with high expectations for oneself. I also take pride in the level of responsibility I assume when it comes to managing any tasks and assignments. My previous work experiences in the travel retail industry has also proved my capability in effective communication and accuracy in handling numbers while extending world-class customer service to both local and foreign travellers. Studying Sociology in University has also equipped me with relevant skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving, as well as cross-cultural understanding. With that, I would like to assure my tutees that I am willing dedicate myself in guiding and encouraging them in their studies as long as they are persistent in seeking upward academic improvement.
