I am a fresh Masters graduate of Chinese Studies in National University of Singapore (NUS) who is passionate in education. I am a native Mandarin speaker who has the certificate of Mandarin speaking test. Chinese writing is my strength and the teaching skills that I developed from my two-year tutoring experience which can make me a successful candidate. The student I tutored was weak in Chinese and English, but after my instructions, he made great progress and ranked top 10 in Chinese in his class. I am creative and enthusiastic and always look forward to helping students reach their goals, and I will answer students’ questions patiently and clearly. Also, my knowledge allows me to develop strong quantitative and qualitative skills for Chinese teaching. Both my bachelor and master background is Chinese Studies, which has accumulated my knowledge of Chinese Linguistics and Literature. I am familiar with Singaporean Chinese such as the phenomenon of word conversions and language variation of Chinese grammar in Singapore, and I have tried to take the research findings into account of Chinese teaching. My tutorials will be based on the MOE curriculum. I will try my best to let your children make progress. I am proficient in English, so I can also teach students or adults who are basic or lack of foundation in Chinese.
