"Climbing Up The Education Ladder One Step at a Time"

I am currently an undergraduate student at NTU pursuing a degree in English Literature. Although I do not possess particularly vast formal experiences or training in tutoring, I have tutored some primary school students in my first year of polytechnic as a member of the TP-BP Mentors. As a current undergraduate major in English Literature, I feel that I have the aptitude to teach English, for both written and oral examinations. Although my education in Chinese and Mathematics have ceased since Secondary school, my results for those particular subjects are excellent. Furthermore, my background in Science in polytechnic and secondary school attests to my capabilities in the areas of Science. Although I am a firm believer of preparing and studying ahead of the school curriculum in order to boost the efficiency of learning and understanding, I also believe in students having a strong foundation first and will try to troubleshoot certain specific problems that students may face. As I am fluent in both English and Chinese, I am able to utilise one language to explain the vocabulary of the other to further help the student in understanding and grasping the necessary concepts.
