"Interest and passion in whatever you do."
I am a passionate individual who believes that English would be essential to everybody, even to those who are not local. It is the language which everyone speaks now and it should be learnt and honed early because it will be useful in the future in terms of communicating with others or for your jobs in the future. I have not taught locally, however, I have been to many trips overseas, like Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam for English teaching assignments where I saw their dedication and interest in the language, which I think should be reflected back in Singapore as well.
