Hi! My name is Shannon Suresh. I have been teaching tuition for 4 years now. When I start teaching a new student, I first assess their current standing and identify problem areas and weak topics. I then start to build the foundation for said topics and work my way up until we cover all the topics. For Science, truly understanding concepts is paramount. For Maths, it is knowing when and how to use formulas and identifying what the question requires of you. Every child is unique and has different learning styles and speeds. Some may respond to auditory learning, other to visual. Some to mind maps and others to key words. No matter the learning style of your child, I am fully committed in helping your child improve his grades to achieve a brighter future! I believe that all students have the aptitude to succeed in their academic endeavours although some may need some guidance! I look forward to working with you and your child!
