I am an optimistic, friendly and easy-going person. I am a tutor providing learning guidance to students from primary to JC on Maths, Chinese & Sicence. With passion of teaching and experience of counselling, I hope I could assist those who need to excel in their studies and also in daily life. Being a strict tutor, my teaching principle is that I will guide you hand on hand as long as you are willing to learn and have a positive attitude. It is the students' improvement on academic results and other areas as well as possessing a positive attitude in their life that make me feel happy and satisfied. Helping others getting improvement and success makes my life more meaningful. In my free time, I like reading, jogging, playing badminton, watching TV and of course sleeping, etc...
-A normal technical student taught by me was promoted to express class and she is able to take 'O' level E-Math together with other Sec 4 Express students. -Students' performance increase from fail grade to one of the top scorer in the class. -One of my students was selected to represent her school for maths competition. - From fail to A/A+ for students from main stream of Express, Normal Academic (NA) & Normal Technical (NT) and International Baccalaureate (IB). - From fail to A2 within about 3.5 months (O Level 2015). - From fail to B in about 2 months (NT Exam 2016). - From pass in NA to A in O level 2016. - From fail (CA) and marginal pass (prelim) to A2 in O level A and E Math 2017. - From pass to A1 (2018 N-level E Math). - From pass to A1 (2018 O-level A and E Math).
I was graduated with Second Upper (Hons) Degree in Engineering from NTU. Being a school representative for maths & chinese competition during my high school studies, I am a medallist for National Maths Olympiads Competition, Australian Maths Competition and other maths competition as well as National Chinese Essay Writing Competition at regional and national level. I obtained 6As in my 'O' level exam and 7As in my 'A' level equivalent examination.
