"X-factor in problem solving"
I am a very flexible and open-minded individual, with great motivation and enthusiasm in teaching. I am currently a researcher in NTU after obtaining my doctorate degree. Because of the nature of research and laboratory exposure during the course of my doctorate programme, I am trained to approach and solve problems through creative and innovative methods or means. I would therefore like to exposure students to this type of problem solving approach. For O and A levels, the use of past year's exams questions are definitely a plus. I would like to use them as a basis for proper foundation of the particular subject and also as to look at the trends in approaching different problems. I am also currently a volunteer tutor with the children's cancer foundation, teaching 'O' and 'N' level subjects.
Students like the way I teach and engage them in solving the problems they have. The learning journey and exam preparation has been very rewarding for all the students I have had before.
