"Every child is *unique*"

I strongly believe that in order for a student to do well in a subject, he or she must first be able to appreciate the theories. The student must 'see' the concepts in relation to their everyday life. Therefore simple case studies can be used to illustrate and provide logical explanations to the theories taught in books. Furthermore, most chapters in the syllabus(especially science subjects) are linked to each other. Therefore it is important for students to be able to map out a mind map of all the chapters and how there are inter-connected. I am a visual plus kinesthetic learner. Therefore I like to use simple things I find around me to help with my understanding similarly for my students.
