I taught my student according to his learning learning styles strategies, All students are either auditory learners, visual learners or kinesthetic learners. Since my student was a visual learner, I would buy a rainbow of pens and highlighters. I would use different colours for different concepts and I would highlight important passages and points in standout shades. Before teaching my student a science chapter and before I read a passage from a textbook, I would make my student look at the illustrations to get an idea of the topic. While teaching the chapter to my student, I would request my student to review the graphics to help remember key concepts. I would also buy flashcards for my student to help memorize facts. I would also request my student to take notes whenever I say any important points. After every 4 lessons I would give my student a short quiz and whenever my student did very well for that quiz I would reward him with a chocolate or sweet.
