"Run after excellence and not success"

I am current pursuing PhD in quantum physics. I have extremely high qualifications receiving several scholarships and fellowships back in India. I am interested for tution mainly because I like to teach people who are interested in learning. My rate is high because I prefer people who are serious. Being an interested student is extremely important to me, even though it doesnt necessarily mean high grades. My main goal is academic and intellectual development of the student, but I prefer an active participation of the student as well. Lack of focus and attention and non-adherence to rules set by me , which are usually turning in assignments at correct time, are non-acceptable. I focus more on understanding than memorizing, more on excellence than success, cause success always follows excellence.
