"Engaging, Excelling."
I am currently an undergraduate at NUS, majoring in Political Science. I have been teaching tuition for the past four years and am a very patient tutor. I always ensure that students can keep up with the pace of the lesson, yet are able to explore their potential fully. I put in a lot of effort to engage the students fully during the lesson and adapt my teaching style to the needs of the student. I usually have mini quizzes at the start of every lesson to ensure that students recall the content from the previous lesson(s). I also create my own worksheets to supplement other materials used during the lessons.
I have helped many students improve greatly in their academics. Some examples are listed below. I helped a P6 boy attain A for his Math when he previously failed. I have helped an O level student attain A1 for Math and A2 for English when she was previously attaining Cs. I have also helped a GP student attain A when she previously managed a C at best.
I have done pretty well in my academics and have received 8 Edusave bursary awards from Singapore Organization of Seamen for academic excellence.
