"Excellence and dedication in teaching"

Rather than drilling students with assessment books and worksheets, I focus on helping students achieve mastery over fundamental concepts and techniques. For example, I teach students how to plan and structure various types of English composition, and how to string together simple but highly effective sentences that appeal to the reader. I also teach students how to critically read comprehension passages and questions, and structure answers in a succinct and effective manner. Similarly, for mathematics, I focus on equipping students with an understanding of key concepts, and a structured approach towards problem solving. The idea is to help students build a very solid foundation, and helping them improve their grades with the least amount of effort possible. I have several years of experience teaching students from primary to tertiary level, and have even taught international students English and Mathematics for standardized college entrance examinations. The majority of my students have seen a great deal of improvement in terms of grades, and have also attain mastery and confidence over the subjects.
